<p align="center"><font size="2" face="garamond" color="#a6aed9">the in character point is for the secret to remain a secret, but the out of character point is to have your character's secret exposed. for example, ares, the character, does not want his secret exposed, but you, as his role player, <i>do</i> want his secret exposed. when your character's secret gets exposed, you can pick up a new character, if you should want to, which will eventually bring in the secondary gods and goddesses. but the only way your character's secret can be fully exposed is by your character admitting to their secret. ares, in example, would have to admit to athena that he is gay, or even that he's selectively into athan.</font></p>

<p align="center"><font size="2" face="garamond" color="#a6aed9">each character has to expose their secret to one other character in particular. the subject of ares' exposure would be athena, meaning that athena and ares would have to role play for ares to even think about telling her about his crush on athan. there are three people involved in each secret, one who holds the secret, one who is the butt of the secret, and one who has an idea that there exsists a secret. in this case, ares holds the secret, athan is the butt of the secret, and athena is the person who has an idea of the secret. </font></p>
